This episode of the Friendship Podcast we discuss how we set ourselves and our kids back by having a mentality of “harder is better” from an early age. Whether it is moving your kids up in sports, or academically into higher level courses, or wanting ultra-challenging workouts or diets, we are becoming designed to want/desire things that simply aren’t appropriate for our long term development. It’s not what’s best for us, and it is freeing to release yourself from it.
