At Friendship CrossFit we are constantly looking for experts to bring in to coach our extra clubs, or help with our coach's continuing education. These experts help bring us top end coaching and programming and allow us to better serve our athletes and help them get the most out of their training time. Our most recent example of that was the Rowing Club.If you know you want to sign-up follow these links: [maxbutton id="2" ] [maxbutton id="3" ]The club was so successful (see below) that we will be offering another 6-weeks of the class...this time with 3 class options each week! We have also set up a Rowing Team for the Arnold this year and will be looking to bring a strong team looking to have some fun and test their skills -- Most of us will sign up for the Mixed Teams of 4 - 2000m Race (500m each)!https://youtu.be/KlFhwrNdXwILed by coach Ashley Sway, these guys seriously destroyed expectations. We accepted 14 athletes into the program, and saw 13 out of 14 PR (to be fair, the only one who didn't is a HS rower and PR'd his 2k on test-in day).  The average time improvement across 6-weeks of all athletes was 24-seconds! See the results below:Row Club PRsAshley rowed for the Greater Dayton Rowing Association in High School, and upon graduation rowed all four years at Indiana University. After graduating, her coaching career began at her old club (GDRA) and then moved up to coaching at the University of Dayton. She is truly an expert, and a coach to her core. Her passion for the development of athletes is rare, and we're so excited to offer another iteration of the program. The program will meet between February 13th & March 25th:Tuesday's (beginning February 13th) - 10:30amFriday - 6:30pmSunday - 10:00am
