Get in Peak Condition and THRIVE!
We want you ready for anything life throws at you, whether you’re on a vacation looking to try surfing for the first time, aspire to run your first half marathon or simply get a bit more lean to feel like your younger self! With Thrive functional fitness classes, life becomes more approachable and you will always be in a ready state.
We use work-to-rest intervals and HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) protocols to help people tap into a higher degree of effort. This means we’re burning more calories, more fat, elevating our VO2 max and lactate threshold and all of the great effects from those things. Ultimately, we will have more energy, look better and feel great!
A typical Thrive Class works like this:
Coach will lead the class through a specific warm-up to get the heart rate up, and loosen up the joints and muscles for the day.
Part 1 of Thrive Class is typically a Primer or mini-workout where we do some form of resistance training or gymnastics strength in a tight superset, which elevates the heart rate but focuses on building strength OR if the workout is a longer one for the day, targeting our aerobic capacity, we will get right into the workout!
The last part of the day will always focus on core strength and mobility. These are two fundamental areas we’ve highlighted to help reduce injuries and promote long term capability of the athlete. Join us today at Friendship Fitness in Dublin, Ohio.
We do a lot of team building and partner workouts, the class is very communal, fun and energetic! High fives and introductions to new friends are the ultimate reward after a hard Thrive class.
